MY STORY
Jabria Ross, Owner and CEO of Acacia Fit by Rosalind. Acacia Fit by Rosalind is an athletic apparel brand, and we serve individuals who need assistance with work out programs and personal training. Acacia Fit by Rosalind is Veteran owned. My professional background is 9 years of service in the ARMY as a medic, NREMT certified as EMT, and NASM certified as CPT. Pursuing Master’s in Health science and in school to become a Physician’s Assistant.
My passion has always been health. I have been in the medical field since I was 19, and I have been an athlete my whole life. I really enjoy helping others. I believe that fitness is another way I can impact individuals as far as their health, mentally and physically. I chose Acacia as the name of my fitness brand because I like how there are many different species of acacia trees in the world, and they are all beautiful. The Acacia tree is symbolic to us as people. I want my customers to see themselves in my athletic wear no matter their size and their background.
I chose fitness as my career because I have had to maintain it throughout my Army career, and I have always found myself helping other soldiers who struggled with Physical Training. I also chose fitness as my career because it is one thing I cannot go without. Working out keeps me grounded, makes me feel whole, and I love the results! I want to help others feel great about their selves and look their best.
